120 patients with hypertension and diabetes had their identification cards that will allow them to received free medications for their illnesses. All patients was screened and identified to be indigent by Kidapawan City Health Office under the supervision of Ms. Lucille Ortiga, RN and staff. WLJF contracted Botica Melanie of Kidapawan City to dispense their medication ensuring that all patient received their monthly medication for a whole year. Counseling in regards to medication intake is also accomplished by the same pharmacy. The once a month doctors’ follow up will be completed by Kidapawan City Health Office outpatient department.
