WLJI in cooperation with Philipppine Dental Association of Kidapawan City Chapter conducted its first "Operation Happy Face and Image" (OP-HAPFI) Palatoplasty and Cheiloplasty surgery on September 1, 2017 at the Dizon Hospital and Medical Center in Kidapawan, Philippines benefiting 2 patients. Xavier (2 years old) and Kerth Von (8 year old) were the recipients. Our volunteer surgeons were Dr. ELiezer Blanes and Dr. Leo Alfonso Tavita Dizon. Our volunteer anesthesiologist was Dr. Anna Lorraine A. Sison. Our volunteer Pediatricians are Dr. Nelma Magpusao and Dr. Babyann Gokotano-Taposok.
