Construction of a new kitchen and cooking area at Puasinda Elementary school was started as a pilot project of our feeding program. The project will be use as a model for the incoming school that will participate on the feeding program. A total of 315 school kids will receive hot lunch every school days for a whole year. The building, cooking materials and supplies will be provided by the WLJI. Teaching of food handling and nutritional benefits to the volunteering mothers of school children will be provided by the CSWD of Kidapawan City on behalf of the office of the mayor, Joseph Evangelista. WLJI staff will also provide assistance to the volunteers.
